Thank you for this.Councillor John Watkins is covering
for me at Scrutiny so I will pass on your comments.
Good luck with the potty training! Iris ---
One of the main problems with the height is that if you take a sensible ground line especially taking into account the predicted level of the sea with respect to climate change in the next 50 years the top goes up about 1.5 Meters taking the max height above the cliff top to 5 Meters about 21 feet.
This is why I think a maximum height above the cliff top must be stipulated in the side letter.
Is it possible that there is an independent architect who you could get to look at the plans as some aspects don't make any sense.
He/She could also confirm that a retail complex the size of Tescos has A1 & A3 planning permission and only a share of 10 parking spaces. As I am sure you will appreciate my position as a married man, who has experienced shopping in a cafe culture forbids me to comment.
I have published your comments on thanetonline.com
All the best Michael

Dear Michael, Thank you for copying me in on
correspondance. I understand the site has been flooded
so the Developer must surely have to examine the whole
project in the light of future insurance problems and
flood barrier requirements. Iris ---

Dear Cllr. Iris Johnston
Why they can't publish a list of councillors email addresses and the forthcoming cabinet and council agendas on the council website beats me.
The amount of paper that gets wasted at the moment astonishes me.
Thanks for your email I have published it at thanetonline.com with the rest.
All the best Michael

Dear Mr Child Thank you for your letter the contents
of which I have noted. The Labour Group have
consistantly supported the Ward councillor David Green
and local residents in their demands for a
satisfactory outcome.Incidentally I didnt receive any
e mails previously from you and only became aware of
problems when Cllrs Nicholson and Green copied me in
on their responses. My e mail system/ address is set
up and paid for by myself and officers may be
reluctant to send all correspondance out for some
unknown reason.Councillor Nicholson as Labour Leader
works very closely with Councillor Green and the rest
of his shadow Cabinet and I am sure they will take on
board all of your comments. Iris Johnston PPC North
